A city that makes you use it
Manta is a port and a university town. It is not built around visitors, which means the shopkeeper, the bus driver and the person next to you at lunch are all going to speak Spanish to you.

- Small groups, never more than a handful of students

Common questions
Do I need to speak any Spanish before I arrive?
No. We teach every level from absolute beginner. You take a short placement conversation on your first morning and we put you in the right group from there.
How long do most students stay?
Most people book between two and four weeks. You can start any Monday of the year, and you can extend once you are here if you want more.
Where do students live?
We arrange accommodation for you: a host family if you want the language all day, or an apartment if you want your own space. Tell us which when you apply.
Is Manta a good place to learn?
It is a working coastal city, not a resort, so very little English is spoken around you. That is uncomfortable for about three days and then it is the reason your Spanish moves.
What is included in the price?
Your classes, materials and the placement test. Accommodation, activities and airport pickup are added on request so you only pay for what you use.
